Current owners Tom and John Standish are the fourth generation of the family operating a sawmill business at Leap Castle and it has always been a family owned business. The original sawmill here was steam powered, but today Standish Sawmills have invested in the latest sawmill technology, just as their great-grandfather did all those years ago.

Standish Sawmills provides a design and manufacturing service that is second to none. We offer an extensive range of quality timber products for the home and export markets. Experience gained over many years by the Standish family using native Irish timber enables our sawmills to provide a full and comprehensive service from bespoke design of garden structures and doors to gates and fencing.

Standish Sawmills use only the best grades of locally grown soft woods woods. The entire operation from timber harvesting to final delivery of product is carried out by us to ensure the highest quality and professional standards are adhered to at all times.
